Your faces have so much character and detail. Something I can NEVER do right! Haha. Anywho… Your shading with colors is awesome, and just your pencil shading all together. Fantastic job! *uhem* … *bookmarks* ^_^

Hi Maya, it's a long time since my last visit and I see your gallery grew a lot. And not only this! It's great that you show now some sculpting yourself and your work in this respect is great. I have to visit more often to check for new sculptings.

Hi Maya; I really like your gallery! You seem to dabble in all sorts of things, and it looks like you really have fun with them. Your figures are very good, and you seem to share my habit of taking delight in the little widgets and doodads that the characters have arrayed about them. You have a great gift for portraying expression and personality in your faces, very simply.

Your gallery is definitely one to keep tabs on. 2

As for the details and facial expressions, they are what I feel make up a good illustration, especially the expression. After all, an illustration is telling a story, right? Right. Your illustrations are varied in theme and subject but there is a very definate style. Your not a dabbler as has been suggested, but a true illustrator. I've followed your work for a very long time and the growth in your ability is substantial. What is emerging now, is an ability to convey mood.

Any artist block that you may be experiencing, may mean you're on the verge of something. A new and deeper awareness preparing to break through.
