| 5 Mar 2003 | Chaos Sonic | Loading...I like the shading and the wrinkes in the armor and the blade sheathis great the hair is SO detailed. I cam from Samuel Lopezs galery and I saw your name so i came and Wala I was very impressed on the first 20 pics so i found my fav and Commented on this one. Maya R. Hirschman replies: "Thanks muchly. I love this picture, too. Doing the armour was a bit of a trial, so I'm glad it meets approval." | |
| 17 Jun 2003 | Richard Gray | Loading...Some nice details here. The forward leg seems a little out of proportion and the hand drawing the sword looks smaller than the one further back. Apart from that, good work! Maya R. Hirschman replies: "Woo ! Dingdingding ! You're this picture's 30th comment !
The forward leg is meant to look a little off because I was playing with forshortening. It is meant to look like he's stepping out on it. The hand... well, it's a side view because it's wrapping around the hilt, but it was also an experiment. Thanks for taking the time to comment !</a></i>" | |
| 1 Aug 2003 | Not a Gnome-Know-it-all | Loading...Reminds me of an NPC i once faced(cant remember his name) but he had a bastard sword and killed our ranger(who had a low ac) so I brought her dragged her off as oour Monk and Rogue attacked him and I ressurected my friend and dealt the last blow to his head with my mace...of course we found out had we had a little higher diplomacy we couldve reasoned with him to help us out of the dungeon but our ranger was a hard head, so we lost that opportunity...oh yea BTW I love the pic and his expression if only the sword was bigger...elves are awesome!!!! Maya R. Hirschman replies: "THanks ! It's been a while since this guy's had a comment. " | |
| 18 Sep 2003 | Rain | Loading...WOW. Now, he's good looking AND a hero. yum. heh, he looks better then legolas. You haven't done a sketch of him, have you? (i've still got quite a bit of your work to get through yet!) Maya R. Hirschman replies: "Hehehehe, no, I don't have a Legolas, but I'll probably get around to one. Thanks." | |

| 1 Jan 2004 | Anonymous | Loading...I thought Elfin Knights carried bows and arrows The picture is really cool otherwise I really like things like Elves Maya R. Hirschman replies: "In some fantasy, they carry bows and arrows, some swords... they're limitless, really." | |
| 13 Jan 2004 | Cat Bowen | Loading...Yep, the folds in his clothes look very real. Hmmm...*looks closely at the pic*...he looks like someone, but I can't think who. Maya R. Hirschman replies: "Thanks, and I think he resembles someone, too, but I have no idea who." | |
| 15 Feb 2004 | Thengel | Loading...Really cool pic imo....impressively drawn..wish I could do so myself but I just can't ;D Maya R. Hirschman replies: "I have to admit that I surprised myself with this one. Thanks for the comment." | |
| 17 Jan 2005 | Eleanor Michalka | Loading...This reminds me of boromir, for some odd reason. I like his face, but I think his ear is a little too high. ^^ I like his expression! Maya R. Hirschman replies: "Thanks. Boromir is a complex character and so this. Jhahala (this guy) is a paladin very much at odds with himself, though his fealty to his god and role never waver. Complicated.
